Hi Loves!
As you might or might not know, I love to play around with the interior of mij room. For now I live with my parents, so I have to work with what I got. I am really into rough, nature-y type rooms lately, so I found some inspiration on Pinterest and got to work!
As you might or might not know, I love to play around with the interior of mij room. For now I live with my parents, so I have to work with what I got. I am really into rough, nature-y type rooms lately, so I found some inspiration on Pinterest and got to work!
Let's start off with the shelf I have in my room. I decided I wanted a tiny collage on the wall, so I collected some old wooden picture frames that we don't use anymore, and searched for some cute printables (On Pinterest as well) and voila! I think it turned out pretty cute. One has gems, one has cacti, some other plants and something what I believe is an old book cover or film poster. Either way, It's super cute! I bought the 'Enjoy' sign from my local crafts store and I found the dreamcatcher in our attic, sadly I'm not sure where it came from.
On the shelf itself I have my newest addition: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. I love this book, and I finished it in no-time as well! I definitely recommend it. Next to that is an old, cool looking matte black bottle with some fake roses in it, my mothers old old old camera, which is just beautiful in my opinion. Then I have an oil lamp, my favorite strip-book from when I was younger, and then an old, used and very bulky notebook which used to be my moms. I also have my baby shoes and my deceased grandfathers old glasses, which have a crack in them. It might be junk to some people, but to me it just has so much character! I also put some fairy lights around the setup, and when it's lit up it looks cute as hell!

At my window I put up some dark-red branches, which matches the room very well! It's not in this picture, but 1 of my walls is actually painted dark red. On the branches I hung a string with decorative shells that I found at our crafts store. On my desk are 2 black vases, I glued some rope around them to make them look more rustic. My mom found me some more decorative branches and a bottle covered in the same rope I used for the vases, which is in the middle. I think it looks very cute!
On the back wall, I off course have my old collage! (who still remembers that guy?!) with pictures of me, my friends and my boyfriend. I don't like the branch that's on top of it! So that's something I'm still figuring out. Then there is a sign that says: Little things make BIG days. Which is so cute, because I am a short girl (1m60 / 5ft3) my mother got me this guy as a gift!
Then I got my beloved house plants! 3 cacti and the hanging plant. I actually have no idea what that one is called.

And last but not least, my bed. I have this beautiful buddha painting that I got from my mom as well and I think it's beautiful. My bed is a basic black frame from IKEA, But my grandma had a carpet that she didn't use. It fit the room very well! So I decided to make it a custom headboard for my bed. Also more fairy lights!
And that's it! I hope you liked the customizations I made to my room. Do you have any DIY projects you want to tell me about? Or do you have any tips? Comment below!
XOXO
