The exposition was absolutely beautiful! Before we actually entered the exhibition we were sat in a theatre to see Harry Potter and the philosophers stone (not the entire movie, just until it was our time to enter the actual exhibition) and it gave me so much nostalgia. I have seen all the Harry Potter movies multiple times and I have read the books countless of times as well, and I'm just in love with the entire series.
When we entered the exhibition we all gathered around the sorting hat, and I actually got picked to get sorted! (Hufflepuff squad unite in the comments please) After that, we entered the wonderful wold of Harry Potter. All the main characters wands were there, there were newspapers, wanted posters etc.
The best thing was their re-creation of the Great Hall. Before you entered the Great Hall you saw a wall full of signs, which were Umbridge's rules! (I might have read them all) And when you entered there were floating candles, all kinds of costumes (Including Hermione's dress and Viktor Krum's robe from the ball. Which were breathtaking) and the Goblet of fire!
They also put up giant banners with all the houses, and 2 Dumbledore Costumes! One for the old and one for the new Dumbledore, which I found interesting as well, because they were both great actors. When we moved on we ended up in Hagrid's hut. It was so cool, because Hagrid's mannequin actually almost touched the ceiling of the area we were in, and there was a gigantic chair which was so much fun to take pictures in.
And the end was the worse part...The merchandise store...Off course I couldn't help myself and I just had to buy a wand. I chose the Elder Wand, because it looked so pretty and rustic and I could put it in my room for decoration! It was such a great day, and a one time opportunity that I definitely won't regret.
What do you guys think of Harry Potter? And what house are you in?
XOXO Brenda
